I had the pleasure of working with Shannon during our time at Beyond. As a designer she brings a level of finesse, beauty, and thoughtfulness to everything she touches. She is a true professional and her attention to detail, willingness to take the time and work through problems, and clearly articulate complex solutions was given high praise by the team and clients. Beyond Shannon's technical and professional talents, I was most impressed with her demeanor and instincts for project/client management. On numerous Google projects, Shannon was a rockstar, working collaboratively with multiple client teams and steering the projects from concept to development.

You cannot work with Shannon without enjoying working. As a collaborator, she unlocks creative potential by providing a space which is open, fun, and trusting. Cannot stress enough how easy it is to jump into real problem solving and strategic conceptual solutions instantaneously and naturally. She provides a professional vulnerability and curiosity which is the foundation of any successful design exercise and constructs a targeted solution oriented landscape without the typical stress-inducing overly rigorous and panicked approach our industry often produces. My time spent designing with Shannon was full of laughter and playfulness in the most productive of ways. Out of laughter came successful campaigns with metrics to validate the novel idea that work can be both pleasant and result-oriented.

I had the great privilege of being Shannon's manager for 2 years at Indeed. I've watched her grow in her skills and confidence, and become a leader within the Candidate Management team. She continuously brings an optimistic and humble voice to the conversation, and that has an immensely positive impact on the people and teams she works with.
